David is such a good nurse

Even though he is working, when he heard me having a little coughing jag, he jumped up, brought me water and tissues for the gunk I hacked up. I’m so grateful. He is so kind and generous.

I did get up about an hour ago. Did some stretches. I’m surprised they didn’t send me home with exercises. I just did what felt right to stretch my neck and arms. I can get them up shoulder high. Had some soup. Walked around some (I’m very sturdy) and have climbed back into bed.

The pain level is low, but it’s consistent. I guess no surgery is ever painless. Even with medicine blockers during surgery. I’m keeping on my med schedule, so I think that helps.
